inch thick cast glass, with its mosaic approach to art
glass, uses the unique translucent refracting properties

Dalles
(also know as slab glass) are hand cast one at a time
and held in place with a special epoxy concrete designed
for this application. This epoxy is weather resistant
and very strong. It affords better protection from vandals
or burglars than pane or soldered glass, due to this
special strength and thickness of the binding pour.
This rock like quality of the epoxy also offers good
sound and thermal insulation. It is formulated to expand
and contract at a similar rate as the slab glass, so
that pieces never come loose. The
epoxy concrete, before it dries, is converted with
granules of washed sand
of 29 mesh
from Monterrey, California.

Various
other aggregates in beautiful colors can be used as
finishing touch. This offers an interesting texture
in-between the glass.
